Off the beaten track......

I travelled down to Paisley on this day, and kept seeing some wonderful wintery, silvery scenes.

The A9, however, has a wonderful habit of providing laybys at the very point where the view disappears. After I had a bite to eat at Ballinluig, I saw that the sun was lighting up the frost on the hills, and decided to stay off the A9 and go along the Aberfeldy road for a wee while.

Duh! How long did it take me to realise that you have to GET OFF the A9 to get a decent picture?
