Arria

Finally got outdoors today for a proper walk, it seems an eternity since the weather has eased up enough to allow for enjoyable excursions out of doors. Today was very misty but not too cold (despite extensive amounts of snow and ice still on the ground).

Our first stop was the Arria statue at Cumbernauld to add to my collection of Blips of Andy Scotts work. I've driven past this impressive statue a number times but today was the first time I've managed to walk up to it's base and marvel at the scale of the 10 metre high lady.

On the walk back we visited the Falkirk Wheel to complete our engineering construction photowalk for the afternoon.
