Taking Care of Business . . .
Taking Care of Business . . . Blipping! and now viewing it on my iPad.
Finally, before the year is ended, I have back-blipped the day in July that has plaqued me these past 5 months. I'm not sure why it took me this long. I managed to back-blip the previous days of camp as soon as we got home. Possibly that last full day was bitter-sweet -- knowing camp was over and knowing that our granddaughter Desiree and our great-grandson Tristan would be headed for the Midwest two days after we got back home. I just didn't want to admit the week was over. So I avoided the back-blipping. Finally it's completed. I collaged the day's photos and wrote my thoughts. Relief--that's accomplished.
Today, the eve of THE EVE, is about over. Tomorrow is our daughter's birthday. Every year we think she is a little ticked that her birthday in on New Year's Eve. Not a good day for a birthday--she claims. But years ago when she was born it was a great day for a tax deduction. She arrived at 6:15 p.m. just in time for dinner. She was an easy delivery, a fabulously happy baby, and a one-of-a-kind wonderful daughter. She'll spend the day tomorrow skiing in a local ski resort in Wrightwood. I know she'll have a good time.
The Chloe Report: We had a stressful night with Chloe because the vet ordered her to wear an inflated donut tube around her neck to keep her from getting to her incision. She cried and whined until 3:00 a.m. when we finally took her out of her crate and put her in bed with us. Then she settled immediately (as if we have the magic touch). She has worn the "donut" all day and several times has been quite playful. We think this evening she'll go to sleep much easier, or at least we hope so. She has not complained or whined all day.
Good night from a dry and windy Southern California.
