Bovine
Day 110
One of the Limousin bulls on the neighbouring farm. He's quite young, so is yet to gain the increadible bulk and head that some of the others on the farm have.
Once again, this photo made me think of a poem i studies for higher english called Revelation by Liz Lochhead. In which a child is introduced to a bull on the farm,
At first, only black
and the hot reek of him. Then he was immense,
his edges merging with the darkness, just
a big bulk and a roar to be really scared of,
a trampling, and a clanking tense with the chain's jerk.
His eyes swivelled in the great wedge of his tossed head.
