Idlewild

This is really just a continuation of yesterday - it was taken at 1.35am outside the only open Kebab shop in Dundee after Mandy had decided that she'd reached the point where she really, really needed a kebab and some chips and curry sauce. I'm pottering outside taking photos with the camera propped on a wheelie bin. This bloke jumped out of the wee car and said he'd posed for me. Glad he did and he did not too bad standing reasonably still for 8 seconds.

Anyway, Idlewild. Nice to see but Roddy's heart wasn't in it. Understandably - they're playing a 10 year old album and their venue is Fat Sam's in Dundee. Lovely venue but I imagine when they were playing there 10 to 15 years ago they were thinking that they'd maybe have done a bit better by now. We had a good time. Mandy got her t-shirt and I got a very nice screen print of something that is the wrong shape to be the tour poster but has all the tour dates on it and looks nice. That's Idlewild done. Probably just as well although I thought Post Electric Blues was really good. The support band were pretty good too.
