In memory.....

I've been a bit short on the commenting business over the last couple of days....but there's a reason. I'm not a huge celebrator of New Year, this year being the 21st anniversary of the late husbands death, he died suddenly in the early hours of New Years Eve 1989 and way, way too young. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I get downright depressed.....just a bit pensive and introspective, reliving those last hours...the way you do. Anyway, this is a rim detail of his bodhran, the 'jingles' are old Irish pennies, it was last played in earnest December 30th 1989.....remembering the best of times John, onwards and upwards!
