Oh Deer!

Quite a big herd jumped out of the hedge in front of the car. By a stroke of luck my camera was on the seat.

This scares me though, as you can see it's a 50mph limit and I know for a fact that people don't follow this. Even at 50mph a collision would probably be unavoidable and rather unpleasant for all involved.

I have seen many many deer around here being removed from the side of the road after being struck. Sad fact of man vs animal.
