Desolate Angel
I'm not a big fan of Christmas now that the kids are grown and visiting my family essentially equates to spending all day with my younger brother's in-laws.
During today's "festivities" I decided to take a walk. I came across a shrine not far from my brother's place, something I'd never seen before; something I never knew existed. It was kind of surreal, but great fodder for shooting through the viewfinder. Included in the shrine was a bronze (I think) copy of Michaelangelo's Pietà, cast from the original statue.
I head back home in the morning and can't wait to get back into my own bed.
