Happy New Year!!!

Terrible picture but we always take a family self portrait at just after midnight 12.01 to be precise with this one :-). You try persuading a 3 year old woken at 10 to midnight to sit for a picture that you are taking after 1 plus..... glasses of champagne.

Stuart and I made a pact years ago to not go out on new years eve after so many awful parties. A lot of good ones but a lot of REALLY bad ones. We stay in with a good meal and dvds, champagne and finish off with Jools Hollands hootenanny.

The first year we had Alfie he had to be up with us as he had the tracheostomy and had to be put down to sleep in whatever room we were in and since then we have got him up just before midnight so we see the new year in together. He takes his parents lunancy in great part andgoes straight back to sleep.

So although this is the best of some really bad pics it is us at midnight wishing you all a very happy NEW YEAR!!!
