Day 1 of 2011

Not the most technical of photos! I thought I'd arrange my camera gear to show the date. This isn't how I mean to go on. They will get better! Taken with Canon Ixus Compact only so that I could use the Nikon as a prop.

Now might be a good time to set a few goals and resolutions for 2011. We'll see how I get on!

Goals:

Get married - The date is chosen (29th Jan) and I've already selected the most perfect bride a man could ask for. I can't wait.

Sell my old flat - Any takers? It's got a balcony!

Decorate/renovate current flat throughout - Started today (sort of) by moving the TV and it's many attached devices to the middle of the room. Took rather longer than I thought.

Maybe move house

Maybe move city- who knows?!

Take a photo and upload it to here every day of 2011

Some sporting goals - Cycle Coast to Coast route. Allendale Challenge maybe. Great North Run time under 1 hour 55 mins. Maybe drag my soon to be wife up Ben Nevis.

Photography goals - Get better! Practice makes perfect which is why I'm here. Wouldn't mind some new kit as well. A nice fast prime portrait lens and a macro lens would open up some new possibilities. Oh, and a new computer with a big screen and maybe some good photo editing software.

I have some other goals but I think they can remain secret for now.

Resoultions:

Drink a little less.

Run a little more.

Cook a little more.

Keep up this 365.
