Letter's to my girls 1

I had this idea that I could spent a month sending a letter, each day to my girls who are both away at University. I'm not sure if I will manage it but I thought that I ought to start today and see what happens. I love New Years Day despite often having a slight hangover.
We have friends over for a brisk, well rather sluggish walk and then back for a big fry up. I will miss the day, girls when you can't make it but I guess we have to get used to that. It was lovely to have you both here for the day even though Hannah was so slow on the walk she was just a small blip in the distance. We finished the day snuggled on the sofa in front of the fire watching films - perfect, thank you girls for being so lovely and lets see if I can manage 30 more letters!
