We had our Christmas celebration today, as Chisa's parents came to the ski resort for the evening, and because we would be travelling back to Tokyo tomorrow. Although Japan doesn't celebrate Christmas as such, there is plenty of evidence of it, from lots of fairy lights and decorations in the shops, to Santa-dressed waiters at the evening buffet meal in the hotel. Very bizarre. We were the only table to have crackers though, brought from the UK to help it feel Christmassy!
