Browns Island

In NZ, as other Commonwealth countries, the day after Christmas is Boxing Day. Traditionally the years biggest retail day, and a holiday.

We started with brunch, did some "traditional" shopping (big sales) then lunched, then went to beach, then had dinner, and then well, blipped. As you do.

This photo is of Browns Island, tomorrow, weather permitting, we'll be navigating the other side en-route to Great Barrier Island (3 hours by boat) for 10 days, Here's to good weather and a calm trip!

btw, the next 10 days will be sporadic, internet access is sporadic on the island ...
