A man and his dog

We had planned to take our traditional New Year's Day walk at Headlands Beach. Unfortunately the weather was warm but wet, so we waited for the skies to clear as predicted. Instead, they turned even more gloomy, a persistent drizzle began to fall, and the temperature dropped about 15 degrees. Finally late in the afternoon, much too late for the trek out to the Headlands, the rain stopped. It was getting near dusk, but we took Gulliver for a short walk in the park. Maybe tomorrow we will make it out for our walk on the beach.
