almost how we left it

Despite the presence of large amounts of fog in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and East Yorkshire and the sudden reappearance of roadside snow north of Newcastle the roads were almost entirely free from any sort of danger/impediment on the way back up, allowing us to make good time if not quite enabling the entire journey to be performed in daylight though this is almost entirely due to not leaving sufficiently early due to not being organised.
