Mangroves

Today's outing was to Celestun, famous for its flamingo boat tours. Since we already did a flamingo tour, we opted for a mangrove tour at Manglares de Dzinitun, a cooperative that's dedicated to restoring the mangroves. We canoed through this mangrove tunnel then down the river for a walk through the woods and past petrified trees. Interesting trip, and we were happy to support their efforts.
