Here he is again - showing how long his hair has grown in just two months! He and I went to the beach today, after checking the ponies he is always plastered in mud so he has a bit of a swim to get rid of the worst of it!

I was invited over to friends for lunch, it is a ritual now, each boxing day. About 8 or 10 of us go and take our Christmas day left overs. Remains of smoked salmon, turkey, ham, trifle, mince pies, fruit, nuts, etc and plenty of drink! Good company and a nice relaxed atmosphere, it's a lovely way to catch up with folk.

Must make a start on the thank you letters now - I am very touched and impressed that this year in particular, all the presents that I got were so thoughtfully bought, and just the sort of things I would have chosen for myself! I hope the folk I gave to were equally impressed!
