East Beach Cafe

This is the East Beach Cafe, Littlehampton, designed by Thomas Heatherwick. It's unusual shape has been a controversial talking point since it opened a couple of years ago. Some people like it (I believe it was highly rated in Vogue), and others hate it (mostly older local residents who feel it is somewhat out of character on the seafront).

Love it or hate it though (and I love it), it always makes for a good photo. Today I had to move onto the beach and crouch down low to get this viewpoint, as there were so many people walking along, and dining inside.

I've had a bit of a debate with the family, because I really wanted to blip the dead fish with big teeth that I found washed up on the beach. They found it a bit grotesque, even though I thought it made a really interesting picture. Who knows what I'll find on the beach in the future...
