Bullrushes

Had a super walk this afternoon. One of my favourites through some woodland to a small local lake, Gormire. A bit muddy but as the ground is pretty frozen it wasn't too bad. The lake was frozen over still and these bullrushes looked very elegant standing in the ice. There were lots of good blipping opportunities but I think this one is the best choice to sum up the day. We all (me, Mike and Bracken),waded into the ford or 'water splash' to clean off our wellies/feet before getting back in the car.
