canalside walk

Just for a change (!) we went for a walk along the kennet and avon canal.. its a mere 2 min walk from where we live..

The ducks were there and a single cygnet.. so we dutifully fed them the remnants of bread and cake we had..
fussy things, they didnt like the chocolate sponge.. id even picked the mouldy bits off it too..
As the light started to go.. the reflection on the water was lovely..
who can resist a teasel too!

its starting to get colder again now..
they mentioned snow on the radio this morning..
Just in time to go back to work!!

Last day of holidays tomorrow..

far too much to do..so ill probaly procrastinate and not do any of it!

Decided to get rid of my Facebook account today..
i dont know why but it was getting me down..
maybe ill re activate it in a few weeks..
who knows
