bleak midwinter

well, the decs are down and now all we're left with is the bleak midwinter. there's not even any lovely snow left to makes things look beautiful, just slush and mud.

it's at this time of year that i usually start to long for the spring.

not so this year, 20 days and i'll be in the sunshine. hoorah!
