Winter Sunshine_7092

For the first time in a long time, today we had bright sunshine outside. It was a beautiful light - really warming and peaceful.

Sadly, all of the flowers in the garden are either dead or dying - it has been so cold lately, it's hardly surprising I suppose.

I managed to find this plant, though - sheltering against the wall, trying to stay out of the wind. It may not really be much to look at, but in the Winter sunshine it really was truly beautiful.
