Near Sawrey walk... and then the pub!

Another day and another walk in the Lakes. I'm so going to miss these daily walks when i go back to work next week. Christmas for us, unlike the weather, has been far from dull. Todays walk was around the surrounding area of Beatrix Potters Hill Top Farm. the house itself was closed for Christmas but we hadn't intended on going to see it anyway. We just fancied a walk around the Esthwaite Water - which is still frozen except for one bit that the swans and ducks were making the most of. We ended up in the local pub in Near Sawrey and downed 2 glasses of mulled wine and a lovely piece of fruit cake.
