Sitting Room

This is one of the cutest, most adorable sitting rooms you're never going to sit in! The reason you'll never sit in it is that it's only a few inches high - it's one of two absolutely ADORABLE dolls house rooms that my Mother-in-Law has in a glass fronted cupboard in her room! The other is a kitchen, which I won't show you now, because I'll probably blip it at some point in the future!

This is just adorable though - the cat washing in front of the fire, the cakes on the table, the tiny tiny books. And each egg in the bowl on the dresser is an individual egg! Just fabulous!

As you'll gather from the above, we went to visit the in-laws (in Devon) today. As is always the case, it's a lot of driving (total about 6 hours), but we had a lovely time. They'd made us a tasty lunch, and afterwards we had Christmas parcels and the Wonderspouse had his birthday pressies since he's had a birthday since we last saw his parents.

As well as our Christmas pressies (one of which was a giant piece of beef) we also came home with a bookcase on the back seat of the car. That'll be very handy for the piles of books that are accumulating on the floors everywhere - as soon as I find a location for it!

The evening was spent snuggled on the sofas in front of Miss Marple on the television. Needless to say, I fell asleep before the end!
