A big blip day!

Well here I am at 500 blips. I've been thinking about why this has caught my imagination and attention so much given I do not have a natural eye for taking pictures (although I've improved greatly through talking with Eubers, among other things like trial and error!). Think it might be for a few reasons. As wee girl I loved looking at the National Geographic Magazine, I spent hours looking at the pictures and on reflection I've never been one for looking at paintings but I've always liked photographs so hence I enjoy blip because of all the fab pictures you get to look at. I love the pictures of Shetland, Canada, New Zealand, Montana, Skye, Inveraray, Majorca, Jamaica, Brunei, Afghanistan, Korea and of course the animal ones are brialliant.........I could go on! I also enjoy looking at all the "local ones" taken by people I know and love and some taken by people I know all about but have never met. As a wee girl I also loved getting mail so I think the excitement of finding people's comments also helps me to enjoy blipfoto!
Anyway, after some backblipping, here's my 500th picture. A wee robin on some creels in Crail harbour. Not very creative for number 500 but that's why blip's so good - you can upload pictures no matter the standard!
