Once good neighbours...

Did you know that Scotland was once part of the North American landmass? Then approx 4million years ago it floated off to join Europe, and there it has remained.
I know these things because of this great informative board on the beach here at Tyninghame, East Lothian. Wifey and son here reading aloud to me.
This is an absolutely wonderful beach, summer and winter. The geology is fascinating, even to a thickie like me, and the sand dunes sublime in warm weather.
