New beginnings

Well, as the new year is getting into it's stride, it seemed appropriate to take a shot of this azalea bud (or is it a rhododendron?). Will let you know how it develops over the coming months. I'll even try and get it in focus ;)

Another early start this morning - 6 am again. You wait, tomorrow, when I need to get up for work, my body will have adjusted to this time zone and won't want to rise! Busy watching Ryan's Daughter at the moment - one of my favourite all time films. I just love the feel of it, the expanse of the sky and sea, and the colours. Just amazing.
