Out with the old...

Cleared out my wardrobe today. Found these bad boys lurking in the back.

My uncle bought me the Liverpool one when I was about 7. I'd been to see my first football match a week or so prior to him buying me this. The match was a charity tournament between Linfield and Glentoran, followed by Liverpool versus Benfica at Windsor Park. From what I can remember it was pretty good!

I got my Lincoln City shirt when we treated my uncle with a trip to Lincoln for his birthday and my dad took my uncle and me to see the Imps play at Sincil Bank. Again my uncle bought me this one and I wore it religiously for weeks. Sadly it was made for a 10 year old so it no longer fits!

My dad then took me and my uncle to see Rangers play Motherwell at Ibrox about 5 years ago. The boat to Scotland was hideously rough. But Rangers won 2-1. My dad bought me the top and my uncle paid for it to get my name on the back and chose a random number (14) printed.

Sadly i'm no longer a football girl. More rugby now. (This is what a grammar school does to you) But I can't help but feel attached to these tops. So they're going up into the roofspace to live :)
