Letter to my girls 3
Dear girlies,
Well you missed a lovely walk today. We have done that walk so often yet we can never quite remember the way - don't worry we had the book to help us but then of course everyone has an opinion on that too. Luckily we made it back to the pub at Freshford for lunch - you would be hard pushed to miss it. I can't think of a nicer way to spend a Winter bank holiday.
The photo shows the motley crue on the bridge at Iford manor. It was only moments after this that you nearly lost your dear mother! We had to cross a field of young bullocks and Sarah and I steered ourselves away from the frisky beasts and into quick mud, we really were sinking fast and had to shout and wave a lot before we managed to escape to higher ground. Those cows just looked bemused.
Now I'm safely tucked up in front of a roaring fire and planning to watch ' The Bourne Supremacy ' tonight.
Have finished the very nice blue scarf Hannah, Andy has been very rude about it , just wait until I knit him a jumper and make him wear it! I'll admit it is a little short but I think a lot of scarves are much longer than they need to be.
I may well blip it tomorrow.
End of the holidays today. Have had a very lovely time. x
