Oil on Water

No masterpieces today alas but I did play with the olive oil on water earlier this afternoon and the results weren't too bad. Instead of my ruddy great glass baking dish I used a little clear lid that I found knocking about so the water was only a few mm deep. Less of a disaster if I knocked it over which happily I didn't. The colour was provided by waving a sheet of metalised green paper around under the tray with my bedside light shining on it.

Aside from that I was very good - tidied the studio, half tidied the living room, tidied the bed room and vacuumed most of the house. I really don't know what came over me!
