On top of the world

One of my great friends lives in a most beautiful and rural part of our county. We don't catch up as often as we would like- life seems to get in the way but when we do its as if no time at all has passed and tonight was no exception. It was wonderful seeing the changes at her newly refurbished cottage, its beautiful and just perfect for their family. 2011 is going to be a great year for them all.

On the lane I stopped to admire the scene. I love this view, always have. I feel like I'm standing on top of the world and it feels good.
