Decommissioning Christmas
It's the last day of our holidays, so although tradition suggests we should wait until the 5th to remove the Christmas decorations and the tree, today seemed to bring a better sense of closure.
It was a choice between a pile of paper chains, or a carpet of pine needles. I went for the paper chains, which seems to associate well with my Christmas Day blip.
It has been a very domestic Christmas - I don't think I've strayed more than half a mile from the house for the past ten days. Tomorrow will bring a resumption of the daily commute into the city.
