SAM a cat MAGENTA & MINT

When in Baltimore last week I went to the Warhol exhibit (well, to be honest, just the gift shop), and I love cat paintings. Got 2 frames at Walmart (Save money. Live better.) and here they are ready for a wall.


Andy Warhol (1923 to 1987) loved cats, creating numerous paintings of them until he began his Pop Art series of soup cans, Coke bottles and Marilyn Monroe silkscreens. As a cat owner, he published a book of 25 cat portraits in which all but one of the felines were named Sam.
