My Last Blip?

...well almost! We took a break from our journey home from Edinburgh and stopped Sunday night at the Swan Inn in Newby Bridge - excellent by the way - and then off out for a walk today.

Whilst taking this photo of Stock Ghyll in Ambleside, I failed to notice a patch of compacted snow which had become blackened and extremely icy.. and I very nearly tumbled over the 3 meter wall!

Fortunately i'm still here!. Now I hope that after a series of mishaps with my camera, health and broadband connection I can continue to blip for a long time to come!
