Self styled

The morning started with hushed boys watching a movie together until two pretty girls entered the house. Then all hell broke loose.

I wonder if what unfolded next was a snapshot into the future, with all three boys each trying to impress the female kind in his own special way.

The youngest got back into bed and shouted loudly to attract attention (subtle), the middle one swiftly got dressed into summer shorts (casual) and the eldest dressed up as a ninja and impressed them with his terrifying moves and home-made spear (intense).

In the midst of all the chaos the man in the middle became distressed and had a clothes crisis. He didn't have any skinny jeans like his spear-wielding elder brother (jealousy?).

Off to Gap we went to remedy this desperate 'always in hand-me-down's' situation. He wore the jeans box-fresh out of the shop in this fabulously self styled manner. Despite wanting the same jeans as his elder brother there is no way on earth you would ever see him wearing them like this. The photo illustrates a wonderful sense of 'self' and a huge amount of pride in wearing 'his' look.

When asked why he chose to tuck the top 'in' he simply stated that "it is much, much, much, much, much, much better".
