Ollie and Buddo

Buddo is the Orcadian dialect word for friend, a term of affection, etc. This little dog, Buddo, is an Orcadian dog who now lives in Germany, and is over here for the Christmas holidays. Her owners also own the little Shetland, Beauty, whom I look after. They have a home here and come for a month in the summer and sometimes at Christmas too.

In the summer she spent the whole time growling at Ollie, now she is best mates with him and they get on so well; it is lovely to see them.

Today the blacksmith came and trimmed the hooves of all three ponies. For some reason dogs LOVE the bits that he cuts off! Tasty chews for the pair of them! We settled for coffee and stollen!
