final fling...

Had frozen a leg of lamb in October - thought it was time to roast it up! From the excellent farm in Caroline - lamb takes some finding here in AB - but either I am getting better at finding it, or there is more about. Ravenwood is my supplier of choice (especially as they come to the summer farmers market.

5 assisted in demolishing the lamb and a further 4 showed up later - this pic is post lamb and before the rest arrived. Quite a wrap up to the season... Monday to recover and then back to it!

If you check out in the moment (sitting on the left) you will see photo of lamb. For those interested... 5lb leg of lamb - pre-heated oven - (nach!) 10 mins @ 450 turn down to 350 - 14 mins per lb and rest for 20...
