Warped time

When one runs around all day to complete missions and errands, chores and projects, all in the hopes of leaving everything clean and in order before going on a short trip, it feels like time travels at warp speed and stands still, simultaneously.

A few times today, I would look at the clock after completing what felt like a lengthy chore to find that only a few minutes had passed. Then I would do it again after finishing a quick task and find that a whole hour had gone by. So I stopped looking. What gets done, gets done.

To add to the load, a client project was piled on top out of the blue, the deadline being tomorrow. Grrrr.
