Red tailed Hawk

This is a red tailed hawk that has been present for the last couple of years at Sachuest national wildlife sanctuary in Middletown, Rhode Island. It is basically not afraid of humans and does allow multiple pictures being taken of it. This picture had the Hawk in a small shrub right near the parking lot. When I got there there was already another photographer taking pictures at the fence. Much to my surprise it turned out to be my friend Elizabeth. This picture was taken just prior to sunset.
