Ancient Broch.

This is a detail from a preserved Broch. These date from about 3000 years ago (they think). Rather splendid they are too. This shot was taken by the bird while I got chatting to some familiar looking bloke who was there with his family and a top of the range Range Rover who kept going on about visiting a nearby waterfall which you could walk behind. We left this Broch wander the short walk to another one when he pulled up in the motor, wound down the window and again said, "I can recommend the waterfall". Only then did I recognise him as Nicky Campbell.. Nice bloke, Got a thing about waterfalls it would seem.


PS. We did attempt the waterfall but the usually 'passable with care' river was a raging torrent so we went to the pub instead.
