Memory

This is the Chanonry AKA "The Channy". It holds many memories for a lot of our Village.

Not only is this where someone can remember a loved one, or reflect on the pointlessness of war and the bravery of young men- this is also where a fair proportion of teens drank their first beer, smoked a fag or snogged someone.

It is just on the edge of the village. Dangerous enough, but with street lighting nearby. It also has a a great place for a swing.

Recently some five bedroom Des Res were built next to it. The planner didn't take into account that there is a bench on a public highway that now looks directly into bedrooms and bathrooms of the rich and famous.
