Japanesque

After an afternoon of looking at Japanese Prints in the Era of Impressionism, the views from the hill took on a decidedly Eastern influence. What I liked best was the compositional trick of including some framing in the foreground--an arch, part of a doorway, an arm, the silhouette of a tree. I love how the whole world looks like whatever exhibit you've just seen, at least for a couple hours.
