Seaweed

We lived on a Greek island for two years and one of the traditions is "The road to the moon" It may not break down too well in translation but the idea is that all single females go down to the sea on a full moon and when the moon rises over the horizon it create a road across the sea with its reflection. When this happens the females head out along the "road" and find a small rock with seaweed attached to it, this will bring them luck in searching for a husband.
All the tourists like this story anyway true or not.
