Temple, Pushkar

Despite all the hype in the guidebooks about Pushkar being a wonderful place we were quite disappointed. To us it seemed to be full of tourists pretending to be 'drop out hippies', tacky stalls catering for such tourists, loads of cheap hotels and loads of restauraunts. The bathing ghats were nice to look at once you'd avoided the hasslers and Twinblips really enjoyed the camel ride. But one day and a night was enough.
