Community event...

Ah ...the day job!!

Once a month, the organisation that i'm working with delivers a 'community event' in one of the Village Development Committees (VDCs) within the Kavre District. Essentially it has a threefold purpose...providing up to date information about HIV/AIDS; addressing issues of stigma & discrimination with respect to PLHAs, (People living with HIV/AIDS), and enabling PLHAs to share their story with villagers...

Although my role is as a management advisor, I tend to go with the team to the villages, as it gives me a much more rounded/hands on perspective of what they are doing.

This is Ramesh doing what he does best... (And yes, he knows I'm going to post this).

The venue is a school classroom in Kavre Banjang.
