Cold Cattle at the Leannach

We set off from home this morning to drive to Glasgow but only got as far as the Leannach (about 12 miles) as the snow was getting progressively worse and worse. The last couple of miles we were behind a gritter which was also ploughing the snow and as we were moving ever more slowly it eventually seemed daft to continue , particularly as we might not have got home again. So I turned the car at the large lay-by at the top of the Leannach, where these cows were standing forlornly in the blizzard.
