Kaiserslautern, Fruchthalle
Built between 1843 and 1846 in early renaissance the Fruchthalle war originally a market hall for grain.
In 1848/1849 it was the seat of the Palatinate revolutionary government.
Today it is used as a concert hall and other cultural events. It is considerd a building of historic importance.
In front is a memorial for the soldiers of the 23. "Königlich-Bayrisch" infantry regiment killed in WW I.
