Further experiments in monochrome

My recent shot of Argyll Street was the first time I've used the Camera Raw plugin to convert to monochrome. Previously I used Silver Efex Pro when I had it and other than that the black and white adjustment layer or channel mixer in Photoshop.

I was quite pleased with the results from ACR so I thought I'd have another pop at it. Once again all I've really done in Photoshop is a wee bit of sharpening and added a bit of grain.

I'll have to investigate it further.

Back to work today but I was still feeling rubbish.
