New Toy

The first parcel from my online sale shopping splurge arrived today, it's fairly obvious from the picture what was in the box! I've been looking for a bigger lens for a while and whilst this isn't the latest version of the 300mm lens it was half the price and will do the job for the amount of times I'm likely to use it. The camera wasn't exactly handbag sized before but given that I'm going to have to use the tripod to get a decent shot at full distance I'm thinking a suitcase is more appropriate :-)
