SLIPPERY SLOPE !

Nice day, sunny outside, easy ride into town ~ what coould be bad?

There's a right angle approach to this tiny hill, so you get slowed down a bit before heading up it and that nice sunshine had made it shockingly slippery. I could hardly walk on it, it was so slick. There's a stong camber to the right, too, and even with the wheels set straight ahead and aiming to back gently straight down the hill, the camber pulled the car sideways and nearly into the ditch.

Fortunately, a neighbor saw me and brought mats, a shovel, a strong back and a willing mind ~ and great generosity of spirit! and we finally got it out. (He's a new neighbor, too, and I couldn't think of a more opportune time to meet for the first time!)

For me, he really brought it back to being "a nice day and sunny outside...."
